Due to anticipated inclement weather for Thursday, February 6, 2025, the Reading School District will operate on an ASYNCHRONOUS REMOTE LEARNING DAY. This means that schools will be closed, but teachers will work from home and students will complete assignments independently either on paper or in their Google Classrooms. Teachers will be available remotely to assist students during virtual office hours following the schedule posted on the District website. Students will connect using a Google Meet link or joining code posted on their Google Classrooms. Breakfast and lunch will not be provided.

Teachers will adhere to the following schedule:

Reading High School:
- Assignments will be posted by 8:25 a.m.
Middle Schools:
- Assignments will be posted by 9:10 a.m.
Elementary Schools and RVA grades 1-8:
- Assignments will be posted by 9:00 a.m.
RKAA:
- Assignments will be posted by 9:50 a.m.
RVA 9-12:
- Log in to Edgenuity to complete assignments, as usual.

The status of scheduled sporting events and extra-curricular activities will be decided tomorrow by 1:00 p.m.

Debido a las inclemencias del tiempo anticipadas para jueves, 6 de febrero de 2025, el Distrito Escolar Reading operará en un DÍA DE APRENDIZAJE ASINCRÓNICO REMOTO.
