Gladys Cordero, Paraprofessional at 10th and Green Elementary School - Gladys is brand new to our district and she is rocking the PreK Para role! She is always ready to jump in, very engaged with our students and is always two steps ahead of me. Thank you for being so awesome to our students and putting them first! You rock!
Ms. Faust, 3rd Grade Teacher at Tyson-Schoner Elementary School - Ms. Faust demonstrates exceptional dedication and has created an engaging and welcoming classroom environment at Tyson! We are so lucky to have her!
Dave VanFossen, 4th Grade Teacher at Tyson-Schoener Elementary School - Mr. VanFossen has been studying Spanish for two years. This week he and his tutor from Venezuela, started a bilingual YouTube channel for his 4th Grade class that follows all of their lessons in class. Each lesson is taught in English and Spanish! Fantastic job!
Ms. Harris, School Social Worker at Tyson-Schoener Elementary School - Thank you Ms. Harris for your unwavering dedication to the staff, students, families, and community of Tyson-Schoener. Your commitment to going above and beyond for all of us, all while maintaining a positive and cheerful demeanor, is truly inspiring. We appreciate everything you do!
Valerie Chamberlin, 7th/8th Grade ELA Teacher at Southwest Middle School - Valerie puts 110% into her planning and teaching each day. She has her students in mind and displays best practices at all times. Her classroom is inviting and well organized. She provides everything her students need to be successful. She also communicates professionally with teachers in the classroom. She goes above and beyond and deserves so much praise!
District Translators - Our District Translators have been translating SO fast! They are quick to say they will work on it, and shortly after its already done. Thank you so so much for all that you do!
Heather Fisher and Mallory Smith, AS Teacher and Assistant at Northeast Middle School - Heather and Mallory, I wanted to thank you for consistently going above and beyond with your students by being patient and understanding. Your hard work and dedication every single day are truly appreciated!
Kaitlin Loveall, Special Education Teacher at 10th and Green Elementary School - Thank you for your patience and understanding wihlle sharing a teaching space with me. I am learning to become more patient witnessing how wonderful you are with building relationships with your students.
Xavier Davis, Attendance Secretary at 16th and Haak Elementary School - Mr. Davis is such a warm, caring person who has a smile on his face EVERY day for EVERY student that walks into the office. Students that are late and already having a rough start to their day leave the office with a smile on their face to restart their morning. He is an absolute asset to the district!
Barry Suski, Maintenance at Glenside Elementary School - Barry has done so much for Glenside. I am especially thankful that he fixed the heater in my room before the really cold temperatures set in. He is always kind and professional and gets things done!
Luis Villafane, Attendance Secretary at Glenside Elementary School - I can't say enough about Luis! He is always professional, jumps in to help wherever he is needed and treats everyone with respect and kindness. Our office is welcoming and friendly because of him. I never have to worry about asking him questions; if he doesn't have the answer he directs me to the right person. Luis is truly a blessing to Glenside!!
Dr. Lindsey Stock, Director of Curriculum - I enjoy attending training with you or seeing you while you visit our building. Your smile is warm and welcoming and boosts everyone's morale! Plus, you ROCK your glasses!!
Tiersa Elliot, English Teacher at Reading High School - What an amazing person to work with at the high! Tiersa always shares ideas, offers support, and helps everyone she meets. Truly one of the most selfless people around. She is a constant source of optimism and never gives up on her students...or her co-workers. Thank you!
Dr. Brittany Purr, Instructional Supervisor at Central Middle School - Just a shout out to Dr. Purr who really made me feel comfortable in my observation this past week! She took the time to listen to my concerns and gave me ideas on how I can have more rigor in my lessons plans! I truly appreciate the detailed notes that you provided to me! Thank you for all you do here at Central Middle School it is truly appreciated!
Paula Reichart, ESL Supervisor at 10th and Green Elementary - Paula has been an amazing and dedicated ESL supervisor to all of us. She assists us with our planning and implementing lessons. She gives the best advice and also is a great resource! We are going to miss her! We wish you the best of luck in your new adventure! Tenth and Penn is fortunate to have you as their new Assistant Principal!!
